Photography always inspires us no matter what subject has been photographed. It is a process or rather should I say it is an art of creating still pictures by recording radiation on a radiation-sensitive medium.

Here we have collected some amazing and awe-inspiring photographs which stir your imagination a lot. These photographs are related to the field of Geology which is the study of the composition, formation, properties, and history of the physical material of planet and it also encompasses the study of the processes by which it is formed, moved, and changed.

Since it is the field of science which focuses on the nature, natural objects and their properties, it is captivating enough for most of the photographers to capture such a beautiful scene in their cameras, and here is the result of this. Enjoy!

I am Geologist in India. I really rejoiced see these first rate photographs of the Geomorphology, the landscapes carved by natural processes very ably captured by you. I wish you grow from strength to strength. May Mother earth be by your side always.
