Nice, I’m sure some of my friends can really use these free photo services.
As for 3D, I think the ultimate free 3D app is Blender (blender.org – works in Mac, Linux and Windows). Very powerful program if you’re willing to put in time. As I was not willing to spend money on commercial packages, I invested my time and sweat instead and it’s been a fun ride.
Also for *posing* there’s Daz Studio (daz3d.com). There’s a free version and commercial “advanced” version. It’s not open source, but still free. They get you on all the models you’ll need to buy, though.
Still, between Blender and Daz, I’ve been able to realize many projects that would not have been possible for me otherwise.

you know mac doesn’t have a great 3d app for text. Xara and Cool 3d was great when I ran a windows machine but now I have a mac and my tools are limited to those way to intense apps and a cool app called cinemac but nothing like xara or cool 3d. maybe I just haven’t found an app that I’m overlooking.
