Earth Hour is globally celebrated environmental event organized by World Wide Fund for Nature. This is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Earth hour was conceived by WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, when 2.2 million residents of Sydney participated by turning off all non-essential lights. Following Sydney’s lead, many other cities around the world adopted the event in 2008. This is one of the most beautiful sites on the web. I love coming here so much I have added you to my blog roll. Keep up the great work.

Wow, positively breath taking indeed. Unbelievable!

Winnie

Beautiful? Yes.

Reality? Well that’s another story.

It seems like nobody publishes or is interested in images unless they are either HDR or heavily tone mapped.

Reality looks too plain and boring – what is that saying?

…. these are some fantastic photographs of some of the beautiful places on Earth !!

So beautiful! Too bad they didn’t have higher res versions. They would look terrible stretched out on my monitor. I was hoping I’d have a new Desktop wallpaper tonight. :(

VERY..VERY ..BEAUTIFUL

These are beautiful pictures, moments in eternity.I do not know what makes them beautiful. That many people consider them as beautiiul, shows that there are many intangible qualities that bind men together in their values of beauty.Let us develop such values. That will bring humanity closer.
