Narayanan, I tested it before publishing the post. I got the confirmation sms in 5 seconds and started using my account.
I like the idea of this service. I just signed up and received the confirmation SMS. I hope this will update me where ever I will be when someone tweets me 
How do append an ad to a textmessage that is already 140 chars long? Do they add a maximum of 20 chars? Or do you receive multiple sms messages? Do the only send sms of your Direct messages or also on replies?

I signed up over a week ago and I still haven’t got the confirmation code on my mobile. I also tried contacting @twe2 on twitter which wasn’t fruitful too. I think they still aren’t completely ready with their service!
