We have using BigAnt for around 2 years, it is a secure and effective manner, We love it because it continue adding new and useful features like remote desktop, support Terminal server and Citrix, support Active Directory/LDAP, conference chat mode, auto-reply message, message logging and archiving. All of the history message are stored on IM server, system administrator can audit all the message archiving.
It’s amazing to send a folder/directory through conversation, so we do not worry about the recipient will miss or mix up when there are so many files need to be transferred.
The vendor offer free upgrade and technical support to registered users, which is a great benefit for us with tight budget.

Think there is any risk to people finding / accessing your chat logs and then reading them?
