Adobe have launched the FREE Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro Mobile application, which allows you to enjoy immediate access to collaborative meetings, web seminars, training sessions and video chat anytime, anywhere.
Users can watch and listen to live presentations including real-time presenter web cam video and screen sharing demonstrations. Users can also see who is present in the meeting at any given time, and collaborate with other users using live text chat. VoIP meeting audio will broadcast straight to your device over a WiFi or 3G connection, or the meeting host may give you the option to join a telephone conference call.
Connect Pro Mobile was built using a pre-release of the next version of Flash Pro and was published as a native iPhone application. Last week at Mobile World Congress, demonstration of Connect Pro was shown on a number of devices, including Android.
This app will be working in iPhone, iPod touch and iPad as well. This application is developed by using the Flash Platform and the Packager for iPhone to publish it as a native iPhone application. Later this year when Adobe AIR will be available for mobile devices, we may be able to use the same code to deliver this application on other mobile devices as well.
