Nice collection of designs, visually, however unfortunate it is that the majority of them are not at all coded with accessible HTML/CSS standards. Kleenex and Johnson&Johnson are the decent exceptions, but Sony’s is a mess of Flash and Knorr is built with framesets! Yikes!
Wow I really like all of those designs but I’ve never seen the one for Nike before. That is a truly interesting choice of an image. Very dynamic.

Interestingly enough, I took the opposite approach and recently wrote a post about the worst web sites of the world’s most popular brands.
I actually included Coca-Cola in my list too — I think it’s a truly terrible site.
who knew Knorr would have such a great site?
I thought the Gucci site was just plain horrible (slooow load times and poor navigation system just to find one particular product you are looking for)

They are pretty, yes- but having used several of those websites to actually try and shop and/or get information, they suck from a useability standpoint. And if your site is pretty, but it’s hard to use..what’s the point?

I have been waiting for a list like this for a very long time.
At the start of every project I do I try and get the client to give me a list of brand attributes, words that best describe their company, up to now I have only been able to match Getty image searches with these words to help step up to the next level, But I have been yearning for a list of major brands and websites that I could then match up these brand attributes with the styles and designs from tis list.
Although i would love this list to grow into the hundreds or even thousands
this is an excellent base…
