There is some other tools that allow dynamic font embeding by using php and gd. Looks like a better way for me.

From my point of view, rendering fonts using flash is definetly a “no go”.
Supporting Browsers which don’t support the latest web standards (html5, css3) is a main reason for IE6 still lingering around (and annoying webdevs all over the world), and I think people using those should be forced to switch to standard conform and modern browsers by depriving them of the latest web design efforts.
Kind of harsh I know, but IE6 made me think this way…
