Sure it is an ad, but also there are also people submitting their work to 123RF so i think it is a pure reality and for designer who needs some material it’s just a question of reading the rules and choosing 123 or not.

I was a huge fan of smashingapps for a long time but lately these kind of ads under article cover really annoying me

I really, REALLY hate all “credits” systems. I know these sites have to make money and be profitable, but it usually just ends up being a pain in my a$$.

At best it’s an annoying method of payment, at worst the site is blatantly trying to rip you off by making you buy credits in unrealistic increments. I’ve never heard of this site until now, but I’m assuming you guys would not be recommending scammers.

But still, credits/subscriptions are usually just a cash grab and a punishment for users who actually want to purchase from the site.
