Tini.us is a simple url shortening service encompassing all the features commonly found with any link shortening service but with one huge added feature that other services lack. With tini.us you have the added option of creating a ‘Super Tini’, a short URL that supports reviews.

tini.us

Super tini’s are designed to be super, when you shorten a link using the ‘Super Tini’ option you can create a review landing page for that tini url where people can share their thoughts about link in question.

We feel there are two great benefits to using ‘Super Tini’

Less link spam

When engaging with social media sites such as twitter, large numbers of links are shared on a daily basis. Those following you will trust the links you are posting and click them freely but with trust comes responsibility and sometimes this can be abused. By creating a super tiny those visiting the link have the opportunity to comment on the website and where fake and spam website links are posted ‘Super Tini’ gives you the opportunity to warn others away from such sites.

Centralized link feedback and reviews

You may be a social media monster but I am sure you hate having to visit numerous websites to see what people are thinking about the link you have shared. By creating a ‘Super Tini’ you have the ability to ask your viewers to review it on the tini website. Now all you need to do is bookmark the page and check back to one place for all your comments and feedback.

Other features

Tini is designed with you in mind. Tini aim to deliver a quick, simple to use link shortening service that gives you greater control over your links allowing you to get the perfect tini to suit your needs. Tini offers many other features that may just keep you coming back for more…

  • The choice of four different Tini’s
  • The ability to see how many times your link has been clicked (only with ‘Super Tini’ & ‘Ninja Tini’)
  • Set your own link that’s easier to remember by using the keyword option, eg www.tini.us/yourlink
  • The ability to create password protected links with ‘Ninja Tini’ and ‘Secure Tini’
  • The choice of 3 domains, tini.us, poourl.com and justlink.us. Cool or what?
  • A great looking ajax powered website means you get your tini way faster than any other shortening services.
  • They show the most recently made tini’s on their site giving you the opportunity to grab some free traffic directly from tini. (‘Secure Tini’ & ‘Ninja Tini‘ do not appear in Recent tini’s section)
  • Tini API offers many options for developers. I recommend tini to any developer looking for something new and safer solution to use in projects such as iPhone app or twitter client for example. You can remotely make normal, secure, super, ninja tini’s with different parameters, more information at http://tini.us/api/

That’s it for now folks, Now I would appreciate you if you can share your thoughts about it and let them know what do you want more in tini as future updates.

Am I the only one thinking, that this service exists in one billion places beforehand? And that we already have we to many shortening services stealing links?

The layout is too flashy, it is not relaxing to look at :/. I also missed the part of how/why it is actually more secure than others…
