I think the applications created with Flex technology is d far better than this ..
This charts not much influenced me
Visifire charts are awesome!
The best part is that I have to learn a single API for both desktop (WPF) and web applications.
Once thing that I hate about some Flash charts is that they ship a separate .swf file for each chart type – which messes up by deployment folder. With Visifire all charts are packaged in a single 212KB binary.
Open source (GPL) licensing is also a smart move. It will help them in rapid distribution and adoption.
I’m learning Asp.Net and I will need to make some charts and oh yea I love Visifire because it’s awesome although I did not use it
A co-op student here, I have spent the last 6 months learning some neat Microsoft products like .NET, SSIS and Microsoft Word. Just kidding about the Word thing. I guess my next thing on the list will have to be Silverlight.
SilverLight provided a Model where we can finally build RIA using our preferred CLR language.with Visifire BI and reporting apps are now extremely easy to write without having to learn a new technology such as ActionScript or Java.
Visifire looks awesome, I haven’t used it obviously but from what I see I really do like it. I’ve seen some of the offerings available for free and personally they’re too vanilla for my tastes.
I’m looking to do something a bit more advanced, but usability and design are still very important to me – Visifire looks to be just the thing I’m looking for – a nice blend between usability, design and performance.
We currently use Flash charts for displaying data to our customers in a meaningful way. I’m not very happy with the appearance of our charts and the complexity involved in displaying data in a way that customers can easily digest.
I’d love to investigate a Silverlight alternative and from what I’ve seen of Visifire so far I think it could really add value to our product.
I was using another charts for my projects but looks like Visifire might be a better option for me.
- fast loading charts
- simple and easy to understand API
- easy to integrate into my projects because it admits all sort of data
Guess I’m in the noob category here, I’ve never used Visifire although I’ve read up on Silverlight (still using AIR, flex and flash over here for RIAs). Looks nice though, and if it’s as quick and easy to implement into web pages as you claim, I’d love to have a developer’s license.
More of the above comments seems to be taken from a Visifire pamphlet
I’ll stay on Flex/Flash, when Silverlight will reach the 99% quote of the market with its “player” drop me a call
Visifire Charts are:
1). Real easy to use and integrate into page/app.
2). Perfect solution for intranet apps since you can count on Silverlight being in the browser.
3). Visually appealing with great functionality (real-time updates are perfect for certain applications).
4). Don’t know why – but I Love the logo!
Plus it is featured on Smashingapps! How can you go wrong?:)
I’ve been curious for quite some time about silverlight. I used flash back during versions 4-5 and loved it to death ,however got away from it. Wanting to go back ,i’m quite appalled with the cost of some software to create flash. Silverlight seems quite nice for my uses.
I would love to give Visifire ago for my development needs. I’m always willing to try a new charting tool!
Wow this is awesome, it works with both php and asp – so I can utilize one charting engine for an upcoming database project. What a time saver and the end results look nice.
I would love to see some comments regarding the accessibility of the end result and of the product itself though. The audience for this app contains something on the order of 35% with a visual or motor disability.

VISIfire is the best charting tool out there PERIOD. My friend already has a developer license and I have been jealous ever since he showed off VISIfire to me.
However, me being a student cannot afford it.
I would love to get a VISIfire Developer License.
You can do really nice charting in SVG, which instead of Flash and Silverlight is an open technology
I know nothing about programming, Flex, RIAs, SSIS, .NET or any of that stuff. All I know is that I’m sick and tired of using Excel to do crap graphs and charts, and I need Silverlight Charts before I top myself…

Using a tool like Visifire allows us to provide fantastic charting capabilities to our clients. The easy to use API is quickly picked up by our developers and gives us an advantage on our business intelligence or reporting projects.

Stop promoting this trivial charting trash. There are enough open standard charting tools that could use some good press to get more involved in those projects. An extra plugin just to view a chat? Get real.
I have to admire the Visifire team for embracing Silverlight as a base for their product. There’s a lot of anti-silverlight people out there at the moment but their team is not only using it as their base technology but doing a damn impressive job with it.
I’m yet to see a more impressive charting package for the web which costs as little.
Silverlight is going to have great market penetration as soon as more developers get over it and just use it. Developing in silverlight is a dream compared to flash.
Looks awesome, I definitely could use a better visualization tool for my designs that gets me away from google charts. They’re fine for basic stuff, but definitely doesn’t make the same impression as these! Plus, have been debating moving some designs to silverlight! would definitely be a deal maker.
This is my first review of a .NET charting solution. And a quick run-through of the charting options available in gallery gives me a pretty good feeling of satisfaction for my charting needs. Easy integration with .NET projects is what I am looking for. Yeah!! I Hope for a better market quote for Silverlight applications.
I’ma win this
Silverlight is a great tool, been into it since one of the first alphas was out on the BT network…
Hi,
I am a fulltime student and I love ASP.NET and I do lot of reporting related works which involves graphs and stuff so I am pretty sure that Visfire would enhance my current reporting structure. And what not using the latest Silverlight platform.
Cheers !
Oh wow, Visfire makes things look so professional! I have many projects, school and otherwise, that would benefit from this!
Business doesn’t have to be boring. Silverlight represents the new face of business. Data presentations that people actually look forward to seeing!

We recently tested Visifire with some high volume Trading systems running SQL Server on the backend – and were blown away with it!
Visifire gives me everything I need to add great looking charts to my rich Internet and Desktop applications, with a single easy-to-use API.

For the moment, i’m using the free edition of FusionCharts on my free private torrents checker website…but i’m not verry happy with it
Theirs charts are not-so-beautiful but yours are very nice and seems highly customizable (great in-page chart designer). I really like those whith black background : so smart !
I would be very happy to work with
