    I’m not so sure about site-perf.com being “accurate and realistic”. I’ll agree with the accurate part, but realistic for who? For users sitting on a terminal in a data center with a gigabit connection, or for users on your average cable connection?

    With an average download speed (of a site from one of site-perf’s test servers) of 4.9 megabits per second, I’m going to go with accurate, but entirely UNREALISTIC.

    2Nick Williams: You are right – http://Site-Perf.com/ is connected to internet by gigabit link. The reason I call it realistic is that it shows much more reliable results than other site performance testing tools. I’ll think how to add an option to emulate some fixed connection link speed, thanks for advice.
