very nice find. i wish i had a nickel for every time a client killed or changed up a concept simply because they didn’t wanted to make the ad “pop” more.
I’m actually doing scientific research on this subject. There is a surprisingly large gap in knowledge in this subject of color and design. I just googled my subject and this article came up…so hopefully I can contribute some concrete examples and data to back this up!
i have read a bit about using colors to affect mood. I do not know how much there is to this. But, i do know that some colors are definitely easier to look at.
